Name FadsThis is a featured page

A name fad is an event that occurs occaisonally in the NintenKingdom forums. It is when several members change their appearing name to coorespond to a certain theme; these changes occur within a short period of time. Name fads often occur around late year holidays, such as Halloween and the winter holiday season, with the theme being the holiday, along with other occasions such as the beginning of the school year. On occasion, a member will change his/her appearing name to match that he/she is currently thinking about, and other members will join in, creating a name fad. A name fad can last anywhere from a day or two to a few months, depending on the willingness of the participating members to keep their names.
