Founded by Tutankoopa on June 23, 2007, and managed by the Admin Team, the Member of the Month is a monthly compilation of the month's accomplishments. Various members are recognized for contributing to NintenKingdom 64 in unique ways. Monthly statistics, based on total post count, member count, topic count, and the most members online at one point, are also calculated. Sometimes, the top posters of the month are recognized. Finally, based on the name of this award system, a member that was truly outstanding within the month in question will be rewarded public recognition, a badge, and access to the exclusive NinteNobility forums.

Based on general laziness from the Admin Team, some early MOTM award ceremonies consist of 2 month's work, not the standard one. In one case, a month was completely overlooked. Now, the Admin Team is committed to providing award ceremonies consistently.
