BadgesThis is a featured page

Badges are NintenKingdom 64's rewards. They are represented using badges and items from Paper Mario: the Thousand-Year Door. Prior to the end of 2008 overahul, they were often square frames containing differing images, although some badges have a different appearance than others. Badges are often used to designate that someone has accomplished a certain task, such as creating a topic with at least five pages. Most of the original badges feature Paper Mario (N64) sprites, although there are many notable exceptions.

Badge rewarding and badge-releated announcements are made in the Badges and Membergroups Board. In the Badge Requests topic here, members may request to recieve a badge or badges. If the Badge Moderator and/or any of the admins believe the member has earned the badge(s), it/they will be granted. Under extreme circumstances, it is also possible for the Badge Moderator and/or admins to unassign a member a certain badge if the need arises. So far, no cases of forceful badge claiming have been reported. Admins as well as the Badge Moderator by extension are allowed to reward themselves badges.

The current Badge Moderator is supercomputer276.

  • The only original badge image not created by SC was Moremans and Muc Army Enlist, which was created by Tutankoopa.
  • The frames of the Brawler and Ultimate Brawler badges are shaped like the Smash Bros icon instead of a square. Due to this shape change, as well as the images used to fill them, they are also larger in comparision to the other badges.
